The Kiosk located at the entry to the Monroe Vietnam Veterans Monument gives a brief history of Captain Norman W. Heck Park and also has a "Locator Board" to show where each of the names on the monument are alphabetically located on the M shaped granite. The box to the bottom left of the kiosk contains copies of the Monroe County Chapter 142 newsletter"LZ 142" (when available). Inside should also be applications for the "Walk of Freedom" bricks available to the general public.
